Registrar of the University, Dr. Kayode Ogunleye, said the development is a digital leap towards transforming the learning experiences for our Students, Alumni, and Staff. The statement further explained that “With the COVID-19 lockdown and the challenges the pandemic has caused, the management of LAUTECH deemed it necessary to provide an internationally recognized eLearning platform for student continuous engagement via Coursera for Campus Initiative. The students whose particulars are indicated hereunder are yet to accept the admission offered to them during the 2018/2019 admission exercise by JAMB. The implication of the above is that concerned students' admission is irregular and thereby not recognized by JAMB. In view of the above, the Admissions and Undergraduate Records Unit will have no other option than to block the affected students portals as from Thursday March 5, 2020. Ologunde on behalf of Senate has graciously approved that the change /  transfer of programme platform be reopened today, Tuesday February 25, 2020.
