FRESHERS' VERIFICATION OF DOCUMENTS - THINGS TO KNOW

 VERIFICATION OF DOCUMENTS OF CANDIDATES ADMITTED FOR THE 2021/2022 ACADEMIC SESSION

    Verification exercise of documents has commenced since Monday, January 10, 2022 to end on Friday, February 25, 2022.

Venue: “The Amphi Theatre” LAUTECH, Ogbomoso. 

Time: 10.00am to 3.00pm every working day.

Required documents for the verification  exercise:

  1. O’ Level result (result uploaded on JAMB CAPS).
  2. JAMB result slip.
  3. LAUTECH Letter of notification of recommendation for admission. (Printed In Color)
  4. Payment receipt of acceptance of provisional admission offered by the university.

    Successful completion of this exercise will enable candidates to be able to proceed further in the registration process as well as payment of tuition fee which is a pre-requisite for allocation of matriculation number.

New Covid-19 Tracing Tool Appears on Smartphones

A Covid-19 tracing software tool has appeared in the settings of both Android phones and iPhones as part of an update of their operating systems. The "exposure notification" tool is switched off by default, and is not a tracing app itself. It enables an app to run in the background while still using Bluetooth. This lets the app measure the distance between two handsets - and then alert the phone owner if someone near them later tests positive for Covid-19. In the UK there is currently no available contact-tracing app. The update has caused some confusion, with people querying the new addition to their handsets on social media.
